Jake Azzopardi

Jake Azzopardi, is one of Malta’s most promising young talents. He made his debut with the Maltese national team during the UEFA qualifiers against the Netherlands.

Azzopardi first broke into the senior team at just 17 years old, quickly establishing himself as a key figure. During season 2024-2025, he featured prominently in the Challenge League, recording 19 appearances and scoring 3 goals. His contributions were instrumental in Valletta’s promotion campaign and in shaping the team’s next generation of talent.

To date, Azzopardi has already amassed 48 appearances in all competitions for Valletta FC, including 20 matches in the Premier League between 2022 and 2024. He also gained valuable experience on the European stage, representing Valletta in the UEFA Youth League with the U19s squad. There, he featured in four matches, facing top clubs like HJK Helsinki (Finland) and AJ Auxerre (France).
