Valletta secured a 2-1 victory over Pieta Hotspurs in today’s match at the Centenary Stadium.

The Citizens took an early lead in the 14th minute when Zack Barbara’s shot was parried, and Andrei Ciolacu capitalized on the rebound to find the net. Valletta doubled their advantage in the 23rd minute, with Barbara getting on the scoresheet himself with a well-placed shot.

Pieta Hotspurs fought back late in the match, reducing the deficit in the 83rd minute through Kian Leonardi, who unleashed a powerful strike from outside the box. Despite the late pressure, Valletta held on to claim all three points.
