Matchday 11: Valletta 3 Gudja U. 1

Valletta claimed a 3-1 triumph over Gudja United in today’s BOV Challenge League match at the Victor Tedesco Stadium. The game marked the debut of Valletta’s newest signing, Ayrton Attard.

Andrei Ciolacu opened the scoring for Valletta with a penalty in the 44th minute, giving his side a 1-0 advantage at halftime. Gudja United quickly responded in the second half, with Eman Micallef equalizing in the 49th minute. However, Ciolacu restored Valletta’s lead in the 57th minute with his second goal of the match.

Jefferson Ferreira de Souza sealed the win with a well-placed header in the 87th minute, finalising the scoreline at 3-1.
